Honda's stylish roadster

- Kyle Fortune
Honda's stylish roadsterCrowd pleaser or motoring teaser?

The official word on the Honda stand is that its OSM (Open Study Model) is merely a concept car designed to couple sleek looks with more efficient engine technology. Penned by Honda's people at Offenbach R&D facility, Germany we can't help but think that Honda is using the British Motor Show to show us how its next S2000 roadster will look.

Stand out features?

We'd love to tell you more about this good-looking concept, but aside from its neat looks there's not much to say about the OSM. There's no real mention of how it's powered, instead Honda is concentrating wholly on the OSM's good looks. There's no denying the stylists have done a great job inside and out, the OSM a very attractive two-seater sports car.

Showroom soon or never to be seen?

A show car through and through the OSM isn't likely to reach production, Honda instead using it to showcase its possible future design direction. We hope it signals how the next S2000 will look...
